Todays Newsday reports it took 986 days to implement a foreclosure.That`s a little over 2 and 1/2 years. The number of foreclosures is down over 20% from the 3rd quarter of 2010. The amount in 2011 is 1,012 in Nassau County, compared to 1,304 the same time last year.When we grieve your taxes we can not use the sales of these homes if they eventually are sold.
